GroupWise ProxySet

Dave has done it again! An administrative tool that can set proxy rights for all of your users through an executable. Available functions include:

• Read the existing proxy settings and write them out to a text file
• Add a specific userid to the proxy list, specifying rights
• Delete a specific userid from the proxy list
• Specify Minimum User Rights

The program allows you to set proxy rights by three methods:

• Set the rights and give the user the opportunity to accept or decline
• Set the rights and give the user a notice that the rights have been set
• Set the rights with no user intervention or notification*

*These options assume that the user is either currently logged into GroupWise or has the ‘No password required with NDS’ option set. As the program has to log in as the user, then it may happen that the normal GroupWise password dialogue appears as the program attempts to log in.

Just put the executable in a location with public read rights, and place it in the login script, or send as a NAL force-run application.

Please note - if you are currently using GroupWise 5.5EP SP2, you will need to update to SP3 to run Proxyset if you have internet addressing enabled.
