This Wiki will show various REST commands that can control GroupWise settings from the command line.

Change the GroupWise Post Office Access Mode

curl –k –user : –X PUT –H “Content-Type: application/json” –data “{\”accessMode\”: \”DIRECT\”}” https://:/gwadmin-service/domains//postoffices/

The valid values for “accessMode” are:

CLIENT_SERVER – This matches the old Client/Server only value
CLIENT_SERVER_DIRECT – This matches the old Client/Server/Direct value
DIRECT – This matches the old Direct only value

Change the GroupWise User’s FID

curl -k –user admin -H “Content-Type: application/json” -X POST -d

Of course, substitute your values for the name, surname, givenName, fileID, https address and port, domname and poname

Fix a bad GWIA directory location that prevents the GWIA from loading/upgrading

For future reference,  you can run this command to fix up the gwia directory.  Then you don’t have to delete/recreate GWIA.  Just substitute the appropriate data for your system

Change a User’s Password
