New NNTP Client for the iPhone

Most of those who know me well know that not only do I post an inordinate number of messages on the Novell Support Forums each day, but also that I’m always looking for ways to “go mobile”.  I had a NNTP client on my Palm 680 that kept me connected any time I was away from my desk, and I’ve been rather lost without an NNTP client on my iPhone.

Well, just this week, a new NNTP client appeared for the iPhone, and I’ve been doing some testing of it.  As with all things coming from a handheld with a true keyboard to the iPhone with the soft keyboard, there are many things to learn and rethink.  After a couple of days though, I’ve finally made some breakthroughs and I think it will be a nice addition to the iPhone.

For those of you out there who have been interested in the same thing, go grab NewsTap NewsTap (Usenet Newsreader).  There is a “NewsTap Lite” for free to check it out, but at $3.99 it’s one of the most useful little apps on my iPhone!
